2022 Senior Picnic
What a lovely day for our Senior Picnic! It was so great to be able to see everyone all together!
Thank you Vernon PAL for the use of your facility, and for always going above and beyond for our seniors. Thanks go out to Ronnie's Catering and BBQ and The Scoop for the delicious food and ice cream, and DJ Allan Boles for another entertaining afternoon.
We appreciate Mayor Burrell, Chuck Voelker, and Vernon Town Council members Pat Rizzuto, Natalie Buccieri, and Brian Lynch spending time with us. Special thanks to the best DPW around. You're always so willing to help us. Last but by no means least, thanks to our Vernon Seniors who always know how to have a great time!
2021 Senior Holiday Luncheon
Honoring our seniors for the annual Senior Holiday Luncheon. This year we are honoring Ellen Meixner, our Senior of the Year. She has proven to be a huge staple in this community going above and beyond for homebound seniors, bringing them food, taking them to appointments and spending time with them. This is a much deserved award.
