Annual 5K Snowshoe at Mountain Creek — January 31, 2026!

Get those snowshoes ready — it’s almost time! Join the Vernon Township Board of Recreation at Mountain Creek on Saturday, January 31st, 2026 for our annual Snowshoe event… and keep your eyes peeled for the mysterious YETI roaming the mountain

Choose Your Challenge:

• 5K Snowshoe Tromp across the ridge of the mountain


• Final Mile Option for those who want a shorter, untimed adventure

Either way, you’ll be putting those winter skills to the test and having a blast!

Everyone is welcome!

Runners, walkers, first-timers — if you’ve got snowshoes, you’re good to go! Ride the cab up to the top, strap in, and hit the snow.

Event Schedule:

• Check-in: 7:30 AM in the Biergarten at Red Tail Lodge


• Lift opens: 8:00 AM


• Race starts: 9:00 AM

• $25 early registration (now through 12/31/25)
