We're looking for enthusiastic volunteers to coach Vernon Girls on the Run this fall!

You don't have to be a runner. You don't have to be a teacher. You simply need a positive attitude and a desire to help inspire the next generation.

As a Girls on the Run coach, you'll help girls in 3rd–5th grade build confidence, develop healthy habits, strengthen friendships, and discover just how capable they truly are—all while having a lot of fun along the way!

✨ Think you have to be a runner to coach Girls on the Run? Think again! Our coaches come from all walks of life. If you enjoy encouraging kids, building confidence, and making a difference, we'll teach you the rest. Sometimes the best coaches aren't the fastest runners—they're the best listeners. 💜

Season Highlights:
🏃 Practices begin September 14
💜 Meet twice a week for 90 minutes
🎉 Celebrate the season by crossing the finish line together at the Girls on the Run 5K on November 15!

Whether you're a parent, grandparent, educator, college student, retiree, or simply someone looking to give back to the community, we'd love to have you join our coaching team.
