Functions and Duties
Public Works provides the Township with a wide variety of services, including snow removal, reconstruction and maintenance of roadways, maintenance of right-of-ways, park and playground maintenance, and signs, and maintenance of Township facilities. The Department's Fleet Division provides service and repair to all Township vehicles, including emergency Fire and Ambulance apparatuses.

Notes
During the late winter early spring, the Department begins trimming trees that are located along Vernon Township maintained road right-of-ways.
