RESOLUTION #R07-266

AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR AND TOWNSHIP CLERK TO SIGN A CONTRACT WITH FIRST PRIORITY EMERGENCY VEHICLES FOR THE PURCHASE OF A TOP MOUNT CLASS A PUMPER – MCAFEE FIRE DEPARTMENT

WHEREAS, the Township Council of the Township of Vernon, NJ desires to enter into contract with First Priority Emergency Vehicles for the purchase of a Top Mount Class A Pumper for the McAfee Fire Department; and

WHEREAS, the Township Council previously adopted a Resolution awarding the bid to First Priority Emergency Vehicles; and

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Township Council of the Township of Vernon, County of Sussex and State of New Jersey as follows.

1. The Mayor and Township Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to sign the contract to purchase a Top Mount Class A Pumper with First Priority Emergency Vehicles.

2. This Resolution shall take effect immediately.

CERTIFICATION

I hereby certify that the above Resolution is a true copy of the Resolution adopted by the Vernon Township Council at their regular meeting held on Monday, the 10th day of December, 2007 at 7:30 p.m. in the Vernon Municipal Building, 21 Church Street, Vernon, New Jersey.
