VERNON TOWNSHIP ORDINANCE #03-02

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE #02-12 PROVIDING FOR FEES FOR A GEOGRAPHIC INFORMATION SYSTEM

BE IT ORDAINED by the Township Council of the Township of Vernon, County of Sussex and State of New Jersey as follows:

1. The Township of Vernon hereby establishes the following fees for the purpose of instituting a Geographic Information System (GIS), which shall provide parcel based mapping, locational data, informational resources, and property information for use by the township and the general public:

$10 at the time of application for a Building Permit;
$10 at the time of application for a Septic Permit;
$20 at the time of issuance of a Certificate of Occupancy;
$50 at the time of application for a variance, site plan and subdivision;

2. If any article, section, subsection, term or condition of this Ordinance is declared invalid or illegal for any reason, the balance of the Ordinance shall be deemed severable and shall remain in full force and effect.

3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances or resolutions that are in conflict with the provisions of this Ordinance are repealed to the extent necessary.

4. This Ordinance shall take effect after publication and passage according to law.

NOTICE

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the above Ordinance was introduced and passed on first reading at the regular meeting of the Township Council of the Township of Vernon, County of Sussex, State of New Jersey held in the Municipal Building on the 6th day of January 2003, and the same came up for final passage at the regular meeting of the Township Council held on the 27th day of January 2003, at which time, after persons interested were given the opportunity to be heard concerning said Ordinance, the same was passed and will be in full force and effect in the Township of Vernon according to law.
