Functions and Duties
The Board of Health is an advisory committee whose purpose is to provide advice and counsel to the Township Council on matters and issues relating to health, safety, and welfare of Vernon residents and issues of health policy for the Township and to perform such functions related to public health issues as shall be lawfully requested of the Board by the Township Council or Township Manager.
