The Vernon Township Community Garden, located on Route 517 (adjacent to the dog park), is open from April through late fall.
The community garden is a place to plant seeds and cultivate friendships. Our gardeners enjoy their time at the garden where they not only get to dig in the dirt but they also have the opportunity to meet other community members, make new friends, share planting tips and give each other a helping hand.
Plots are 12' x 14' and available on a first-come, first-served basis for an annual rental fee of $40.00. Registration opens around February 1st each year—look for an announcement under “Township News” on the home page for complete details as the date approaches.
