Welcome to the Vernon Township Police Department’s section of the Vernon Township website.
Vernon Township is the largest community in Sussex County and I take great pride in overseeing a department that serves over 25,000 residents and thousands more tourists throughout all four seasons.
The Vernon Township Police Department operates with twenty-nine sworn officers and a number of civilian personnel. Our mission is to maintain order and preserve and protect the life, peace and property of all the people who live, work and visit this community.
This department provides efficient police services in a fair and professional manner without prejudice or bias. My officers are held to the highest standards of performance and ethics. Together, we are dedicated to building and maintaining relationships with the township’s citizens and businesses in an effort to enhance the quality of life.
