Free Electronics Recycling Event

Do you have a TV taking up closet space? Are your junk drawers filled with cell phones and other gadgets? If so, please join us the weeks of October 7 and October 14, 2013 at the Vernon Township Recycling Center located at 2 Riggs Way in Vernon.
Vernon Township, Samsung Electronics America Inc. and Vintage Tech Recyclers have joined forces to bring area residents a free solution for responsible electronics recycling.
During this recycling event, all participants can take an ENERGY STAR pledge for a chance to win an ENERGY STAR qualified Samsung 40" LED TV. The winner will be selected in a random drawing from among all pledges received and will be notified via the e-mail address provided in their pledge.

- devices containing mercury
- alkaline batteries

- household chemicals
- toys

- paint
Vintage Tech Recyclers assures residents that all electronics are properly handled and recycled and all hard drives are protected using NIST 800-88 compliant software wiping.
