Operation Toy Train

Posted: October 14, 2019

Operation Toy Train

Mark your calendars! For the first time since it began, Operation Toy Train will be stopping in Vernon on Saturday, November 30, 2019!

The train and its crew will be pulling up to Veterans Memorial Park and our original train station (now the Tracks Deli) at 4:20 p.m.

This mission is part of Toys for Tots conducted by the U.S. Marine Corps to collect new, unwrapped toys and we are happy to be able to coordinate this stop.

This has been three years in the making to have Vernon added to the route—hope to see everyone there giving a big Vernon welcome to the conductor and the crew! Bring the kids for pictures with Santa aboard the train!

There will be military vehicles to check out and U.S. Marines on hand to chat with!
