Vernon Night Out

Posted: July 15, 2019

Due to expected inclement weather, this event has been postponed until Thursday night, August 8, 2019.

On Wednesday, August 7, 2019, join the police department, civic groups and other agencies from throughout the area at Vernon’s Night Out. Rain date is August 8.

The free event will take place at Maple Grange Park on Maple Grange Road in Vernon from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and is sponsored by Vernon Township, Vernon Township Police Department, Vernon PAL and the Vernon Coalition to be Drug Free.

The night will include fun attractions such as live music with The Scott Britt Band, a petting zoo, archery tag from Crystal Springs, Atlantic Health’s Medivac helicopter and more plus all kinds of food will be available for purchase.

This will also give us an opportunity promote resources such as the C.L.E.A.R. Program (Community Law Enforcement Addiction Recovery), Operation Helping Hand and other initiatives that exist to help fight the opiate epidemic in our own backyard.
