Call the Meeting to Order
Statement of Compliance
Pursuant to the Open Public Meetings Act, Chapter 23, P.L. 1975 adequate notice as defined by Section 3D, Chapter 231, P.L. 1975 has been caused to be made to the following: The New Jersey Herald, daily and Sunday, AIM and the Advertiser-News, and is posted on the bulletin board reserved for that purpose in the Vernon Municipal Center.

Chairperson Report
Discussion on National Night Out. Meeting with Chief Wherry on Friday November 12.
Heaven Hill will donate a balled tree for Maple Grange. Will be planted for future use. This year we will have cut tree to light. A plaque will be given to Heaven Hill for a thank you.
Recreation Director Report
Boxes are set up for cards and pine cones. Cards are being donated. Goodie bags set for kids at lighting, activity pads, candy canes, holiday characters, tattoos and foam tree letters put together.
Renting two tents for event, one with three sides for crafts and singers small tent for Santa.
PAL providing ribbons, sparkles and glue for ornaments made with donated pine cones and coloring pages. Chamber to provide refreshments except hot chocolate—board will provide hot chocolate. 400 lights for the tree. Peer group students will help out for the night.
Old Business
Pit for bonfire will be provided by Don S. Santa, Mrs. Claus and Frosty are confirmed.
Kevin provided presentation about ice skating at Maple Grange Park. Document was well prepared and board decided the cost, maintenance and upkeep was more than they wanted to do this year.
