Mr. Charles Bates, HPC Chair, called the meeting to order at 7:11 p.m.
Statement of Compliance
Pursuant to the Open Public Meetings Act, Chapter 231 P.L., 1975, adequate notice as defined in Section 3D of Chapter 231, P.L. 1975, had been forwarded to the New Jersey Herald on January 21, 2010, and published on February 10, 2010. Notice is also posted on the bulletin board and filed with the office of the Township Clerk.

HPC July 15, 2010 Regular Meeting Minutes
Discussion: Mr. Bates advised that he will contact Ms. Angie Bates on Tuesday regarding the status of the cemetery applications. Mr. Bates also advised that he researched tax incentive language for West Milford and Ocean Grove and found there is no provision for historic memorialization in either town. He asked the members to research other towns. Ms. Cheadle said she would research Fords, NJ and/or Plainfield and Ledgewood.
Motion: Mr. Hanke made a motion to approve of the minutes, as revised, of the HPC meeting on July 15, 2010. Mr. Cantaldi seconded the motion. All were in favor.

Economic Development Advisory Committee
Mr. Wetzel advised when the next meeting will be held.
Board of Education Building—Marker Language
Mr. Bates advised that the proposed language was approved by the Board of Education and they would like the marker to be affixed to the building. Mr. Bates and Mr. Wetzel will go to the site to discuss a location for the marker near the building and will email their observations to the HPC members.
Mr. Bates asked Mr. Hanke for a Saturday date when they could get together to clean out the files in November.

The HPC members reviewed the application and determined that there is no historical significance in connection with this site.

The HPC members reviewed the application and determined that there is no historical significance in connection with this site.
LU #7-10-5: Verizon Wireless, Construction of a 100' Monopole and Shelter
The HPC members reviewed the application and determined that there is no historical significance in connection with this site.
ZB #4-06-6: Glenwood Management
The HPC members reviewed the application and determined that there is no historical significance in connection with this site.
LU #7-10-6: Frank Fierro
The HPC members reviewed the application and determined that there is no historical significance in connection with this site.

The HPC members reviewed the application and determined that there is no historical significance in connection with this site.
Discussion on Prioritizing the 250 Other Structures for Application for Memorialization
The HPC members continued their project prioritizing the structures with the slide presentation.

Rev. Solon made a motion to adjourn the HPC meeting at 9:12 p.m. Ms. Cheadle seconded the motion. All were in favor.
