Mr. Sokolewicz, Chair, called the meeting to order at 7:45 p.m.
Statement of Compliance
Pursuant to the Open Public Meetings Act, Chapter 231 P.L., 1975, adequate notice as defined in Section 3D of Chapter 231, P.L. 1975, had been forwarded to the New Jersey Herald on February 1, 2013. Notice is also posted on the bulletin board and filed with the office of the Township Clerk.

December 12, 2013
Motion: Mr. Laabs made a motion to approve the above minutes. Mr. Bates seconded the motion. All were in favor except Ms. Gunn-Kadish and Mr. Borisuk abstained.
Old Business
Status of PowerPoint presentation
Mr. Sokolewicz asked and Mr. Bates confirmed that there are not dates yet for the presentation from the mayor. Mr. Sokolewicz asked for pictures for several of the properties which Ms. Gunn-Kadish will provide from the historical society.
The presentation will be held at the Baptist Church in April or May 2014. Mr. Bates suggested adding an explanation of what the HPC will do to the area of Glenwood.
Mr. Sokolewicz said he wants this presentation to be a group effort.
Status of Drew/Walker Homesteads
Mr. Borisuk reported that he visited the sites and both property owners are interested in historical memorialization. Mr. Bates will go visit them to create initial HPC contact and then Mr. Sokolewicz will go to a second meeting with the property owners to be scheduled after the Glenwood PowerPoint presentation.
Ms. Gunn-Kadish will bring an application on Saturday to the Walker Farm as she is going there on Saturday. Mr. Bates will make contact with Dennis at the Drew homestead.
Applications to Review
LU #1-14-1: Dennis Iuo, Minor Subdivision (Drew Farm), Proposed Dwelling
Ms. Gunn-Kadish will take the plans to review with Ron DuPont and forward any information to the HPC chair and vice chair.
Discussion
Mr. Bates offered to be a liaison between the HPC and land use board, town council, township clerk and mayor.
Motion: A motion was made by Mr. Laabs to accept Mr. Bates offer above. Ms. Gunn-Kadish seconded the motion. All were in favor.
Mr. Sokolewicz discussed the newspaper article regarding grants from the NJ Department of Community Affairs - Capital Preservation Grants. The deadline for applications is April 1, 2014. Ms. Gunn-Kadish advised that a homeowner cannot apply. Only non-profits are eligible.
Adjournment
Mr. Borisuk made a motion to adjourn the HPC meeting at 8:45 p.m. Mr. Bates seconded the motion. All were in favor.
