Mr. Sokolewicz, Chair, called the meeting to order at 7:09 p.m.
Statement of Compliance
Pursuant to the Open Public Meetings Act, Chapter 231 P.L., 1975, adequate notice as defined in Section 3D of Chapter 231, P.L. 1975, had been forwarded to the New Jersey Herald on January 23, 2014. Notice is also posted on the bulletin board and filed with the office of the Township Clerk.

The above minutes were reviewed and accepted by all members.
Old Business
Glenwood Historic Area
With reference to the presentation on Glenwood, Charles Bates to set up a work session meeting with the town council to present the concept of the Glenwood historical area.
Status of Drew/Walker Homesteads
The history of the homestead has been received. Charles Bates sent out the application on April 3, 2014, but it has not been received as yet. After the paperwork is completed, the HPC will review.
The Walker homestead application is on temporary hold.
Membership
Steve Sokolewicz indicated that Justin Annunziati would be available for an interview to become a member. Wayne McCabe, the Sussex County historian, will come on May 22, 2014 to make a presentation.
Vernon United Methodist Church
An initial interest was indicated in early February 2014, and Charles Bates has made several inquiries but to date no decision has been made regarding memorialization.
New Business
Carol Gunn Kadish has made us aware that another cemetery has been discovered. Carol is interested in writing an application for the Highland Lakes/Kampe Cemetery.
Meeting was closed to the public.
